Congratulations Richie and Jess

Great News!!! My nephew Richie and his long-time girlfriend have gotten engaged!!! They have been together since High School, and are such a cute couple. I am so so so happy for them! I haven't heard anything about a date yet, but I hear they have checked out the East Wind (Rich and I were married there) and they like it. I will keep you posted :)

The Tooth Fairy came...

My baby lost her first tooth. It will never be the same again :( Once they start getting adult teeth, their whole look changes. BUT anyway.. .she is thrilled!!! The Tooth Fairy came and brought her $5! I was a bit sad because I was not home (I was working) when it came out and when the tooth fairy came.

SNOW!!!!

The girls played in the snow... while I shoveled.

Watch out Allie!

More of Allison's Birthday

We had an "Almost Sleepover" party for Allison and her friends. It turned out to be so much fun. All the girls came in their pajamas and brought their pillows and stuffed animals. We played games and watched High School Musical 2. The girls decorated Pillowcases with fabric markers, and made their own sundaes.

The whole group...
Opening gifts :)
Here they are making their own sundaes.
Happy Birthday to Allison!
Thanks for the help Uncle Dougie and Karen (not pictures)! He is ironing the Pillowcases... poor planning on my part :(

Allison 6th Birthday!!

Minnesauke every months updates this board in the main hallway! I love the next series of pics... Allie was on the phone with her Grandpa from PA. He was singing to her. I just love the expressions.

Right after the phone call she opened her gift from Grandma and Grandpa... the Eyeclops. It is a very cool toy! I think Rich enjoyed it more than she did. LOL
Grandma Vegas got Allison the Bakery Set from American Girl.. well for her birthday Grandma then bought her the table and Chairs. She is thrilled.

Instead of the traditional cake... Allie opted for fondue. We had quite the spread. She had a blast.

The last gift was from Katie... a littlekinz pig!!! Allison loved it, and is still sleeping with it.

last month.....

Here is a picture of the console at work.... I had taken my camera to work, and was playing with it. Again, playing with my camera- this time the Macro feature... this is Katie's ear. The Mickey earrings were a christmas gift from Grandma and Grandpa in PA.
Baby Christopher... He is sooo sooo cute :)

Just a good pic of Grandma and Grandpa.

pizza!

On Thursday night we went to Cindy's house and had some pizza... it was fun because my Dad was in town, and we also saw Billy, Elena, the girls, and uncle Bob and Aunt Carol and Uncle Stewie and Aunt Dorothy. I just LOVE baby El's face :) Thanks for the brownies Cindy!!
Jamie, Carolina, Allison and Katie
NO MORE PICTURES!!! lol
and of course... Johnny!

playing catch up...

I am trying to catch up on the organization of all my photos... its a little harder right now because I am using 2 cameras.... and I don't download the photos as often as I should. These are pics from this month ( I still have to catch up on the photos from January! I haven't even posted pics from Allison's Birthday) Here is a picture of Natalie, Katie, Allie and Chris. Because the kids go to different schools... Chris and Natalie are in Port Jefferson School District, the kids don't see each other as often as we would like. So Jill and I make it a point to get the kids together during the school breaks.

Since Grammy Pat works for Port Jeff School District- she was off all week too. We had them over for dinner on Tuesday and Allison got to show her the beloved bakery set!
I hope you can see it clearly in this pic... Allison lost her first tooth!! About 10 days ago! Of course the tooth fairy came left her $5.

my hero

This a picture take of Richard at a fire Setauket FD had in early January. I think this is an awesome picture. I just love him :) (thanks Dad for sharing) The picture below is of another fire Setauket FD had in mid January....
Thank goodness it was an abandoned house. There was no interior operations on this one. When you see the photos, it is just a reminder of how dangerous fire is, an how dangerous firefighting can be. So... a big thank you to all my firefighting heros.... especially Richard, Dougie, Dad, Bobby, Pop, Freddy.
