the Gorge...

Watkins Glen State Park is known for its Gorge. we decided to drive up to the top of the Gorge and walk down, you can then take a shuttle to the top and get your car. It was so beautiful... that is why there are so many photos :) Just starting down. My nephew Jacob and my brother in law Adam are pictured heading down.
"Everyone stop and smile"

In some areas the rocks were amazingly smooth...

Farm Sanctuary...

We visited the Farm Sanctuary, it was an amazing place. You can find out more information about their cause by going to their website at http://www.farmsanctuary.org/ The have hundreds of rescued animals, and have created a wonderful environment for these farm animals to live.

Matilda was our tour guide and was incredibly informative! Below is a rescued cow, she was HUGE!
Pop Pop and Katie.

I think this is the prettiest goat I have every seen.

These ducks have the most amazing view!

Feeding time for the pigs!

Pit Stop...

On the way home from the campground, we stopped at my fathers house (it was on way) to drop off the trailer. We have plans to go back up next Wednesday... and figured it would be easier to just drop it off on the way home.
Grandpa had the girls working... cleaning the trailer before the tractor ride.

Gretch, Bob and the girls and Nancy and Rich stopped along with us... My Dad and Sarah hosted a nice lunch for us and had everything set up in the "firehouse".
After lunch, we hopped onto the firetruck... and drove to Antol's for some ice cream cones.
