Kathryn's Communion... post 1

OK... there are so many pictures from Katies communion that I am going to post them in 2 halves...
It was an amazing day. Katie was so happy, and so excited. The pictures in this half are her "getting ready" pics and her at the church.

Its all starting to come together- we had decided to have her hair all up. It looked so pretty.all done.

Here she is. Heading out the the church.
Grandma and Grandpa with Katie.
Each child had to make a banner to hang on the side of the pew. Kathryn designed her banner and worked really hard to make it look good.

St. James doesn't allow photos inside the church... they hire a photographer, so you can purchase the pictures afterward. So all of the following pics are from after the mass. Here is Katie standing with the other children right next to Father Bob. Father Bob is awesome. We were thankful that he did her mass.

Grandma Leute with Katie.

This is a picture of Katie and her friend Hannah... Hannah and Katie have known each other since mommy and me and went to pre-school and now attend Minnesauke together. I was lucky enough to become very good friends with Karen, her mom... Hannah's sister Ava is Allisons age and they are best buds too- they have also been close since attending pre-school together.

Uncle Dougie, Aunt Erica and Kate
Katie and her godparents. Aunt Gretchen and Uncle Dougie (looking as handsome as ever)
Grandma Vegas and Katie
Pop-Pop and Grammie Pat... with Katie

Easter

We spent easter at Gretchen and Bobby's house. Here are just a few pics. I thought I had taken more. Oh well. Rich and his dad.
Jen and Katie hunting for eggs.

My nephew Rob and my Brother-in-law Rich.

Father / Daughter Square Dance

The Girl Scouts held their annual Father Daughter Square Dance on March 19th. Because Katie is in Brownies and Allison is Daisies.... they both got to go. Since Rich couldn't be a date for both of them- Grandpa was sweet enough come down and be Allison's date. I didn't get that many pics but here are a few.

Navigator 2008

This is a long distance post... I am in Baltimore this week for the NAED Navigator Conference. I just got to my room and quickly hooked up my laptop to the wireless internet. I am confident that I will have time this week to post pics from Katie's communion, Bob's and Pop's installation dinners, and various other things to catch up. I have not yet downloaded the pictures from Christophers baptism yesterday. I will do that when I get home! My room is sooooo nice. I am staying at the Marriott Waterfront Baltimore. I have a beautiful view of the Baltimore inner harbor.... I am up on the 16th floor. I will make sure I take photos.

Tonight I am meeting with some of my CCM friends. I am really looking forward to that. The worst part of the whole trip is that not only is Kathryn's birthday on Thursday... but they are also off from school this whole week. Total Bummer! My mom is staying this week with the girls and they have 4 birthday parties between them this week to keep them busy (and my mom too!)

Stay tuned.. lots of pics coming soon :o)

OMG... its been almost 2 months since my last post. I have had so much going on, so much in fact I only just starting to feel like I can breathe. I have tons to blog about and lots of pics to post. I will be working on it this week- considering I have FINALLY downloaded the hundreds of photos I have taken over the last couple of months. Stay tuned....
